Founded in 1993 by Dr. Joe Caceres, Buena Park Heart Center was established as a specialized branch of Caceres Medical Group, dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Under Dr. Caceres' leadership, the center has always prioritized patient comfort and convenience, evident in its use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. This approach allows patients to undergo comprehensive testing in a comfortable and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of ease and trust.
Buena Park Heart Center's extensive on-site diagnostic capabilities, including EKG, echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, ultrasonography, digital x-rays, and more, eliminate the need for offsite referrals. This integrated care model ensures timely and accurate diagnoses, enhancing the patient experience and ensuring the most effective treatment plans.
In response to the growing demand for specialized treatments like Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) and recognizing the potential of this innovative therapy, Pulse EECP Therapy was created as a dedicated offshoot of Buena Park Heart Center. Pulse represents an evolution of our commitment to expanding our services and providing the best quality care for our patients. It symbolizes our ongoing dedication to exploring and incorporating advanced treatments that align with our core values of patient-centered care, convenience, and cutting-edge technology.
At Pulse, we continue this tradition of excellence, focusing specifically on the unique benefits of EECP for various conditions, including refractory angina, long COVID symptoms, and athletic performance enhancement. Our establishment of Pulse as a dedicated EECP center reflects our unwavering commitment to meeting the evolving health needs of our community and delivering comprehensive, state-of-the-art care tailored to each patient's unique health journey.

Our commitment to staying informed and providing the best care is a cornerstone of our philosophy. We maintain a mandatory continuing medical education program (CME) for all our providers and staff members, giving them access to the latest medical research and clinical guidelines. This empowers our healthcare professionals to deliver cutting-edge care to our patients and meet regulatory requirements.
